Click
HERE to open a zipped file of these Daily Devotions. You will need a
program that will "unzip" or extract these files. If you don't have such
a program, you can download a free 45-day
trial of WinZip.
Once you have installed WinZip, the files will be extracted to a new
folder called Unzipped in your My Documents folder.
(If you are using another program to unzip the files they may be opened
to a different folder.)
When you open the "Unzipped" folder you will see a list of file names beginning
with " T " and a series of numbers. Each of these files holds a morning
or evening devotion. These files required special coding to fit the format we
desired. You may choose to read them in the raw format using WordPad or
Microsoft Word or format them according to your personal preference. (If
you don't know how to do this, please obtain your own assistance.)
This material
is public domain with no rights reserved and may be distributed in any
format without cost or obligation. The devotions were first published by the American Tract Society in
1875 from materials prepared for family devotions by Jonathan Bagster (1813-72)
and compiled for publication by the Bagster family. If you choose to distribute
these devotions or use them for other than your own personal use,
although they are public domain it is appropriate to credit the Bagster
family for their work in compiling and publishing these devotions which
have been such a blessing to Christians around the world for well over
200 years.
